Landlords: get let in the West

Need help letting your property?

Finding a tenant can be difficult but there’s help at hand through schemes being run by local authorities across all the West of England areas.

If you’re thinking about letting your property but need help to find a suitable tenant, please contact your local authority on the telephone numbers at the foot of this page.

Incentives. A number of incentives are offered to landlords including:

  • Help with deposits; rent in advance,
  • Free inventories; free property checks; free tenancy agreements,
  • Free advice on tenancy issues and good letting practice,
  • Experienced and professional local support
  • Plus a point of contact throughout the tenancy.

We help you meet the requirements. To let property through us, the homes that are offered need to meet health, safety and environmental standards. We can advise on getting your property ready to rent.

Earn income and help house tenants. Letting your property through these schemes will bring you a regular income. It also helps to provide much needed housing in the private sector for those who would otherwise be waiting for social housing.

Call us - we're here to help. If you aren’t sure whether your property meets all the requirements yet, our assessors can help. Or, if you are interested in knowing more about any of the schemes, please contact:
